A seaside restaurant 15 km from Saint-Cyprien

Saint-Cyprien has one of the largest marinas on the Catalan coast. Port-Vendres, 15 km away, is different: it's a fishing port that has resisted becoming a yachting harbour. No luxury yachts on Quai Pierre Forgas — just trawlers, fish crates and people at work. Le France has stood on this quay for years, and its terrace looks straight onto that scene. Something rare on this coast.

Getting to Le France from Saint-Cyprien

From Saint-Cyprien, take the D81 and then join the D914 south towards Argelès and Port-Vendres. It's 15 km, about 20 minutes. Arriving in Port-Vendres from the north, Quai Pierre Forgas is immediately visible on your right as you drive down to the harbour. Le France is at number 21.
