Between Banyuls and Port-Vendres, the Côte Vermeille unfolds its terraced vineyards above the sea — the very vines that produce Banyuls AOC wine. You'll find these local wines on Le France's list, but the bar is just as much what the place is known for: house cocktails, homemade sangria in summer, regional craft beers. An aperitif on the harbourside terrace, cocktail in hand with a few Catalan tapas, is one of the highlights of the house.

Le France's tapas — Catalan platter, marinated and oil-cured anchovies, grilled peppers, pan con tomate — are made for slow sharing over a drink, eyes on the boats. Perfect for a light lunch or an unhurried start to the evening. Under new ownership since late 2025, Franck Fulliquet has carefully developed this bar and aperitif offer, making Le France a meeting place between meals too.
